The soul and jazz festival entered its seventh year with enthusiasm, securing its staying power as a symbol of diversity in music and a celebration of South London.

The independent festival ran for its third year and did not disappoint, bringing in hard hitters like Molchat Doma, Daniel Avery and Los Bitchos.

Wide Awake came and gone in a flash, but remains one of London’s exciting new ventures — bring on 2022.
