5 Seconds of Summer announce World Tour for 2026
The Australian pop band will be taking their sixth album ‘EVERYONE’S A STAR!’ on tour.
With bassist Calum Hood dropping his debut album ORDER chaos ORDER in June, guitarist Michael Clifford releasing his debut SIDEQUEST in July, drummer Ashton Irwin sharing his second album BLOOD ON THE DRUMS last year and makeshift frontman Luke Hemmings also releasing his second solo venture boy last year, it seemed about time that we’d see the band come back together again.
Although all four have put the work in solo, going in opposite directions stylistically, it seems the new era of 5 Seconds of Summer is something entirely new for each of them.
First single NOT OK draws comparisons to Gorillaz and is an undeniable earworm, with the band exploring their punkier side in style and sound. There’s quite a way to announce your return, effortlessly shredding the ‘boyband’ skin that has shrouded them since they opened for heavyweights One Direction back in 2013.
Despite moving away from the pop hits they are known for and welcoming in a new, punchier sound, the Australian quartet dropped second single, Boyband, after teasing it on social media and causing a commotion in their fanbase.
They have shared third single, Telephone Busy, and ventured into a sound that will only leave excitement for the full album, which lands via Republic Records on November 14th. Alongside the new single, the band have announced their return to the UK, with a run of dates that commence in March 2026 at Belfast’s SSE Arena, before drawing to a close at Cardiff’s International Arena. After heading to the UK, the band will then take the album to the States from May to August, before heading to their homeland for the finale.
General on-sale begins on Friday, October 31st at 10am local time HERE.
