BludFest has announced its return for its third year; however, this time with a huge twist. Yungblud, the founder and organiser of the festival, has decided to flee the nest of The National Bowl in Milton Keynes, where the previous two instalments have been held. The festival will instead move to Hradec Králové, Czechia, at the Park 360 — a venue that also hosts the Rock for People festival.

Joining Yungblud as headliners are Scottish rock heavyweights Biffy Clyro and psychedelic icons Primal Scream — both huge acts for the first overseas instalment of the festival.

Amongst the remaining support acts we have indie-pop group Pale Waves, art-rock trio Palaye Royale and Atlanta rapper Destroy Lonely. Also added are Irish breakout artist Bambie Thug and London-based Leap.

Finalising the announcement is Jesse Jo Stark, who is fresh off a collaboration with Lil Yachty, Pam Rabbit and Nieve Ella, who is a returning artist, having played at BludFest last year.

BludFest will remain a one-day festival, but this time Hradec Králové gives the fans a chance to camp the night before and on the night of the event, with a range of glamping options available.

Speaking about the third BludFest, Yungblud has said, “We have such an incredible fanbase in Czechia. They are one of the best audiences in the world.”

“The reaction we got from a potential announcement when I said it on stage over there was so big and so electrifying, it kind of cemented that it would be the first international BludFest. It’s going to be an incredible show.”

He added, “It feels so crazy to have planted a seed two years ago in Milton Keynes that has now grown roots and expanded all the way to Czechia. It cemented the idea that anything is possible when you never take no for an answer and you have a community that will follow you anywhere. I’m really lucky.”

Alongside camping the day before and after the show, fans can look forward to staples of the BludFest festival, including the much-loved Make A Friend Tent, where solo festival-goers can connect on the signature giant Ferris wheel. The Beautifully Romanticised Accidentally Traumatised (B.R.A.T.) pop-up and Yungblud’s Bludbeer will be back on site, and Gibson returns as a sponsor, unveiling a third stage.

Obviously, as a Milton Keynes resident, it is disappointing that BludFest will not be gracing The National Bowl again this year, but this is a huge step for the festival’s direction and a great indication of the ever-rising popularity of BludFest and the ever-expanding community Yungblud has fostered.

Tickets for BludFest 3 go on general sale at 10am on February 27th, preceded by a 24-hour pre-sale window opening at 9am on February 26th. Tickets can be found here.
