Bon Jovi announced as 1st headliner for BST Hyde Park 2027
The iconic New Jersey rockers continue a run of live shows with the festival’s first announcement for next year.
American rock legends Bon Jovi have been announced as the first headliner for BST Hyde Park in June 2027, the festival’s first reveal of next year. The full line-up and support acts are yet to be announced but, in a charming twist of fate (or well-crafted marketing), this is something of a homecoming: Bon Jovi headlined BST Hyde Park’s inaugural show back in 2013.
The New Jersey titans behind hits like Livin’ On A Prayer and Always will return to London after they played a string of comeback shows at the capital’s Wembley Stadium last month. The three shows formed part of Bon Jovi’s Forever tour, celebrating both their latest studio release and their first live shows since frontman Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal surgery in 2022. The news comes alongside the group announcing a series of shows in their native US, bringing stadium anthems and big-haired rock to the masses.
Speaking on their upcoming slot, Jon Bon Jovi said, “We have a storied history with performing at Hyde Park on previous tours and it’s a full circle moment to be returning to BST Hyde Park, fourteen years after headlining the very first festival. The Forever Tour has been an incredible celebration of the music and the fans who have been with us all these years. There’s nothing quite like the energy of a UK crowd, and the joy and excitement we shared with our fans this summer was something truly special. To bring that energy back to Hyde Park means a lot to us. We’re grateful for every one of you and can’t wait to make more memories together.”
The news of Bon Jovi coming back to BST is just the latest on a long road of recent high points for the group, who in 2025 released the ‘Legendary Edition’ of Forever, their sixteenth studio album, made up of tracks from the original album reimagined with a plethora of musical talent, like Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll and Robbie Williams.
BST Hyde Park’s 2026 season brought artistic legends Garth Brooks, Duran Duran and Pitbull to the nation’s capital, among others. With bad medicine like GRAMMY Award winners Bon Jovi on the slate for next year, 2027 is shaping up to, yet again, raise the game for British live music.
