Demob Happy announce new album ‘The Grown Ups Are Talking’
The news comes with the single ‘No Man Left Behind’.
It’s all looking up for Newcastle-forged alternative rockers Demob Happy. Earlier this month, the three-piece played a blistering headliner set at Islington Assembly Hall, and have earned the respect of publications like The Guardian, NME, The Line of Best Fit and Kerrang!. Their songs have been played on both BBC Radio 1 and Radio X, and they’ve supported the likes of Jack White and Royal Blood.
They’re now unveiling a new album, The Grown Ups Are Talking, to be released January 30th. To mark the news of what will be the band’s fourth LP, Demob Happy have put out No Man Left Behind, a driving rocker. With pulsing, almost psychedelic backbeats and cryptic verses, No Man Left Behind is every inch a worthy introduction to the new era of Demob Happy. The guitar work is frizzy, the chorus infectious and the runtime satisfactorily long. It’s one hell of an offering.
The Grown Ups Are Talking is out January 30th via Milk Parlour Records.
