Hannah Lew announces debut album and drops poppy gem ‘Another Twilight’
The singer-songwriter from groups Grass Widow and Cold Beat unveils new self-titled record.
Another Twilight is the first taste of Hannah Lew’s upcoming, eponymous debut. It’s also a cosmic slice of lo-fi pop-electronica, subtly brilliant and full of little nuances which become clear after several listens. And there will be several listens, believe me; Hannah Lew has concocted one hell of a musical elixir.
It’s catchy, packs an infectious beat and showcases the best of what the Venn diagram between pop and electronica can produce. It’s one of the strongest releases of the fledgling year, and one I expect to keep hold of that title viciously.
