In March and April of 2026 the band will bring their signature sound to a range of locations, along with some special guests.

Pills ‘n’ Thrills And Bellyaches was released in 1990 and solidified the Happy Mondays as one of the pioneers of the Madchester scene. Containing some of the band’s most successful hit singles (such as Step On and Kinky Afro), Happy Mondays are taking it back across the UK. Beginning in Newcastle, the band will play shows in Leeds, Nottingham, Cardiff, Liverpool, Sheffield, Cambridge, London, Southend and Norwich, all before the end of March.

In April, they then travel to Brighton, Bristol, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Margate and Guildford, before playing a hometown gig at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse. The tour then wraps up with three back-to-back nights in Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom, the penultimate show in Dublin, and the final gig of the tour being played in Belfast’s Mandela Hall on April 24th.

They will be joined by special guests The Farm and Northside, who also played at the iconic Happy Mondays’ concert in Leeds in 1991. The bands have long been intertwined with the Happy Mondays, so it’s great to see them finally touring together.

Fans are sure to feel the infectious energy from the fusion of psychedelia and house, and I’m sure that hearing some of those iconic hits from such an influential album will be sure to draw some impressive crowds.

A venue pre-sale will take place from 9am on Wednesday 17th September, before going on general sale at 9am on Friday 19th September, available from www.alttickets.com and www.happymondaysofficial.co.uk.
