The band haven’t released anything since their 2019 debut album.

Indoor Pets, formerly Get Inuit for those that remember, have announced their return to original label Alcopop! Records after five years away. Alongside that announcement comes a brand new track, London (Love to Hate), a brief tour and their long-awaited follow-up to 2019’s Be Content.

After releasing their debut album to huge praise, the band faded from social media for the best part of four years, working day jobs to make ends meet while living in London, before emerging in 2024 with an angrier, darker sound. Struggling to make ends meet in the capital while trying to make it as a musician (which is a difficult feat in today’s world if you don’t sell your soul to commercialisation), it’s no wonder frontman Jamie Glass has spoken so earnestly about being ashamed of receiving Universal Credit.

There’s been an Indoor Pets-shaped hole left in the Indie space and I’m glad they’re back to fill it.

The untitled album will be released in Spring 2024.
