Lemondaze announce signing to Venn Records
The Cambridge band have joined the likes of Bob Vylan and High Vis.
The dreamy, reverb-drenched soundscapes of Lemondaze have found a home, as the band has officially signed to Venn Records, marking an exciting new chapter for one of the UK’s most promising up-and-coming shoegaze acts.
Since their formation, Lemondaze have been crafting lush, hypnotic soundscapes that blend swirling guitars, ethereal vocals, and a nostalgic yet forward-thinking approach to shoegaze and dreampop. Their self-released singles have earned them a dedicated following, with tracks like (o)type and Art Form becoming underground essentials for fans of the genre. Now, with the backing of Venn Records, a label known for championing boundary-pushing indie and alternative artists (Bob Vylan, High Vis and Meryl Streek, to name a few), the band is poised to reach even greater heights.
Venn Records has built a reputation for nurturing artists who defy convention, making them an ideal fit for Lemondaze’s immersive sound. The label’s roster includes a mix of emerging and established acts, all united by a commitment to bold, genre-defying music. For Lemondaze, this partnership means greater resources, wider distribution, and the opportunity to bring their sonic vision to a broader audience.
Given Lemondaze’s track record of mesmerising live performances, it’s also likely that a UK tour will follow, especially after gaining a following this weekend at ArcTangent Festival, bringing their hypnotic melodies to stages across the country.
