sombr announces 1st UK arena show to mark The O2’s 20th Birthday
sombr joins the already announced Maisie Peters, Shreya Ghoshal, Don Omar and Jorja Smith.
Off the back of his electric, headline-worthy slots seen at Reading and Leeds Festival this past weekend, sombr has just announced that he will be making his very first UK arena debut next summer during what looks like a very stacked birthday month over at the 02.
Having quickly cemented himself as someone to watch, sombr has gained worldwide attention for his effervescent energy and dominance across every stage he finds himself parading on. sombr — also known as Shane Boose, a 21-year-old from the Lower East Side in New York — has managed to captivate a wide audience with his own blend of indie pop arena anthems that I’m sure will go down a treat at somewhere as prestigious as The 02.
If you were one of the lucky ones who caught sombr’s set at either Reading or Leeds across the bank holiday weekend, I’m sure you’ll be more than ready to relive it all again next year, but this time indoors and at one of the world’s most recognised live entertainment venues.
Since opening in 2007, The 02 has welcomed over 100 million visitors and held more than 3,000 shows; the venue has also been crowned as Billboard’s top international arena and venue of the decade.

The venue also sees four other acts playing throughout the birthday season, such as Maisie Peters, Shreya Ghoshal, Don Omar and Jorja Smith, and that’s without even touching on the support.
Priority Tickets are available exclusively to O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers via the Priority app from 10am on Wednesday 2nd September and go on general sale at 10am on Friday 4th September via www.theo2.co.uk.
