Manchester’s shoegazers thistle. have announced their signing to REX Records, home to the formidable ugly ozo.
Off the back of the success of their debut EP, it’s nice to see you, stranger, the Northampton-founded band, who recently relocated to Manchester, have dropped their first track on their new label home.
At one minute and 30 seconds, tied is abrupt, wasting no time getting stuck in, creating a sound similar to the addictive soundscapes of DIIV, but being the perfect taste of thistle. for those unfamiliar. For something so short and sweet, it sure packs a punch.
The trio will head out on tour with Glasgow’s Humour this Sunday and already have an exciting 2026 schedule, with festival stops at Manchester Psych Fest and Bristol’s Ritual Union one-dayer.
