British singer, songwriter and producer Yellow Days — aka Geoge van den Broek — has returned with news of his sixth album and a brand new sound.

Finding success with his debut album Harmless Melodies back in 2016, with the huge singles A Little While, Gap in the Clouds and Your Hand Holding Mine, he forged a name for himself in the indie scene for his lo-fi pop sounds that drew comparisons to Mac Demarco (he later went on to collaborate with him) and HOMESHAKE.

Alongside the announcement of his reinvention comes Sharon, a surprise for those already fans of the Brit, and a welcome one at that. Shaking off the indie pop curtain he’s been draped in for years, Geoge reveals himself as a soulful, powerful singer on the first teaser of what’s to come when the full album drops.

A Rock In A Hard Place is out February 13th via Independent Co.
