Sløtface announce return to DIY roots with new single ‘YES CHEF’
The Grammy Award-winning Nordic four-piece go fully independent on their new track that’s full of deafening noise and masochistic cuisine.
What if Gordon Ramsay reached for the guitar instead of the fish knife? What if The Bear’s Carmy unwound by recording hardcore thrash meal? Sløtface, the established rock act from Norway, have pondered the very same, dreaming up lovably chaotic fresh single, YES CHEF, detailing the violent bloodbath of a Michelin-starred kitchen.
In two minutes, the group deliver screeching choruses and cacophonic riffs, culminating in one hell of an amuse-bouche. The band have shrugged off the sound of their label days, returning to the dirt and DIY style of music from whence they came. It’s loud, it’s senseless, it’s a whole lot of fun.
YES CHEF is out now via Dagen er ødelagt.
