The heady melancholia of THEATRE’s new track ‘The Fall’

It marks the Irish group’s debut single, under the label BMG / Echo.

Limerick’s latest talent, THEATRE, have exploded onto the indie music scene with titanic anthem The Fall, a sublimely beautiful song, with a massive chorus, haunting vocals and crescendo fit for Tchaikovsky.

What begins as a floaty, mist-coated ballad swells into something truly massive. It’s a whole three-act play put to song, and absolutely worth the listen.

I could see The Fall blasting off the radiowaves of the early noughties, and it hasn’t lost any of that momentum here, making for a genuinely exciting fresh indie lick. For a debut single, this isn’t just exciting, it’s downright epic.

The Fall is out now via BMG / ECHO.
