Wynona share upbeat indie tune ‘Feeling For Edges’

A guitar-driven, jangly indie-pop song – what’s not to love?

Wynona’s latest single, Feeling For Edges, is an excellent example of what indie pop should be in 2024 – hopeful, dreamy and upbeat. Let’s forget the negativity of the years that came before and focus on those silver linings!

With jangly guitars, a warm nostalgic feel and vocals that bring to mind the likes of The Cranberries, it’s easy to focus on those sunny moments when listening to this track. Originally written during the pandemic, the song delves into the complexities of navigating relationships and the struggles of finding stability amidst chaos; themes which are sadly still just as relevant today. And maybe that’s why the song manages to hit the right spot sonically; by providing that welcome sense of comfort and a feeling of optimism amongst these continuously uncertain times.

Feeling For Edges feels like one of those classic romantic pop songs from the 90s that would no doubt fit into any rom-com from that period. It’s so sincere and so carefree; a genuine challenge not to love. Wynona certainly know their sound and are conscious of the emotional impact their music can make, so I can’t wait to hear what they release next.
