2000trees adds 30 more artists to the 2026 lineup
The festival staple will take over Upcote Farm in July.
Starting out from humble beginnings in 2007, 2000trees has cemented itself within the alternative community with its consistent display of care for the festival-goers in attendance.
Aside from the stellar line-ups that 2000trees provides year after year, where the festival truly shines is within its dedicated community, who experience the festival once and return every year thereafter without fail. At this point, trees is a staple festival for a lot of people, and the audience base is ever-growing.
As a self-proclaimed 2000trees newbie, only having been for the previous two years, I keep coming back for the stories from the veterans and the thrill of not knowing what fun the next day will bring. An amazing community has been built because of attendees and staff taking care of each other and bringing a friendly and welcoming environment for all to enjoy. The lore runs deep with this festival (special shoutout to Mr Fridge and the Marshall amp).
Being a smaller festival is what made 2000trees such a fantastic experience. Between the five to ten minute walk to the stages from camp (at most), fantastic food and drink vendors (with dietary options for all — shoutout to Happy Maki) and the cleanest festival toilets known to man (voted for over and over at the UK Festival Awards), it shows that 2000trees genuinely cares about its fan base.
This year’s line-up is truly special, headlined by 2000trees veterans, the Chicago-based Alkaline Trio, with Funeral For A Friend joining them on headline duties and playing their only 2026 headline festival slot, returning to Upcote Farm after thirteen years. Although the full line-up hasn’t been released, what we do have is a fantastic list of bands, old and new.
My most notable picks from the line-up would be Tennessee’s own Free Throw, Michigan locals Saturdays At Your Place and shoegaze titans Superheaven. The UK’s very own Lastelle, Hyphen and Love Rarely also feature amongst many others.
To avoid rambling on about my own picks, I’ll let the line-up speak for itself. We’re sure you’ll find many bands that fit nicely within your style, and if not (or if you’re new to the genres), 2000trees is the perfect place to start your festival experience.
The festival takes place from Wednesday, July 8th to Saturday, July 11th at Upcote Farm in Gloucestershire.
