Boomtown expands Chapter 5 line-up with heavyweight Phase 2 additions
Over 50 new names join the 2026 bill as Boomtown expands its genre-spanning Chapter 5 programme.
Boomtown has revealed a major second wave of artists for its 2026 edition, Chapter 5: Radical Redesign, adding more than 50 names to a bill that already spans genres and generations.
The additions extend across scenes while maintaining a clear sense of direction. UK garage heavyweight DJ EZ joins the line-up, bringing decades of technical mastery and dancefloor authority, while SBTRKT returns with a rare DJ set that signals a more exploratory booking.
Bass remains central to Boomtown’s identity. A.M.C ft. Phantom, Alix Perez, S.P.Y, Ivy Lab, Lens and Kasra B2B Samurai Breaks reinforce that foundation, underlining the festival’s long-standing commitment to drum and bass. Meanwhile, artists including VTSS, Azyr and Folamour broaden the electronic spectrum, incorporating harder techno and groove-led house into the programme.
Live performance continues to sit alongside club culture. Kae Tempest brings spoken-word urgency, Peaches adds theatrical intensity, and Beardyman contributes improvisational unpredictability. Rising names such as Rose Gray, Gurriers, Lynks, Panic Shack and Hak Baker ensure the balance between established acts and emerging talent remains intact.
These Phase 2 confirmations build on a first wave featuring Skrillex, Four Tet, Faithless, Madness, Scissor Sisters, Kneecap, Scooter, Ashnikko and Shaggy, reinforcing the breadth of programming audiences have come to expect from the Hampshire festival.
Since the second phase was announced, discussion around potential clashes and stage placements has continued across the festival’s community channels. With over 90% of tickets already sold and demand reportedly at record levels, momentum shows no sign of slowing.
