End of the Road returns to Larmer Tree Gardens from September 3rd to 6th, marking its 20th edition. The festival has now confirmed its full line-up, announcing 113 new names and completing a bill that reflects both its history and its ongoing commitment to breadth and discovery.

One of the most meaningful bookings for long-time festival-goers is the return of Brakes, who played the festival’s first edition and its 10th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the band will perform their album Give Blood in full, adding a sense of continuity to the anniversary programme.

The latest announcement brings a wide range of artists to the festival, including Super Furry Animals, Beverly Glenn-Copeland & Elizabeth Copeland, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Lucinda Williams, Ty Segall, Fat Dog, caroline, YHWH Nailgun, Just Mustard and james K, alongside many more. The scale and variety of the additions underline End of the Road’s reputation for combining established names with cult favourites and newer artists across genres.

The weekend is headlined by Pulp, CMAT and Mac DeMarco, with a fourth headliner yet to be revealed. Pulp’s appearance will be their only UK festival date of the year and their first time headlining End of the Road, while Mac DeMarco returns almost a decade after his last performance at the festival. CMAT completes the headline trio following a period of rapid growth in profile and audience.

Mac DeMarco’s record label, aptly titled Mac’s Record Label, will host a showcase featuring Daryl Johns, Pedro Martins, Tex Crick and Vicky Farewell, with Mac saying, “I am incredibly excited to share these humans with you. Also, their music.”

Beyond the music, End of the Road will once again host a programme of comedy, literature and cinema, as well as smaller performances and installations across the site. With its full line-up now announced, the festival’s 20th edition looks set to be a confident reflection of its past while continuing to look forward.
