Swedish folk duo and sisters First Aid Kit have announced they will tour the UK and Ireland in 2027 for their Visions from the Past Tour. These shows will serve as a compendium of their catalogue to date and feature music from across their eighteen-year career. This comes off the back of two sold-out and very well-received shows at the Royal Albert Hall back in September.
When announcing the tour, the sisters explained these “stripped-back intimate shows are where we’ll go through our back catalogue”. They also teased the debut of brand new songs fans have yet to hear. This is sure to excite fans as the duo haven’t released new music in three years.
Opening for the sisters will be their brother Isak Benjamin, who has previously toured with them in the USA.
The tour will kick off on January 18th in Dublin at 3Olympia Theatre and culminate with a show at London’s Eventim Apollo on January 28th.
