The fantastic Grandmas House will be launching their first-ever full album on August 21st of this year. This comes after several singles and EPs over the past few years, all of which carry a grunge, garage rock feeling throughout. This, mixed with unique, engaging vocals, gives the band a deserved spot on the rising indie artist scene.

With the announcement comes another single from the album. Baby You’re A Winner joins Dog in the list of singles released so far. This fresh track is not only the titular song of the project but also brings more of that discordant rock the fans love so much.

Accompanying the track is another fun music video; this one is a bit more lively than the previous one, with the theme of a televised game show giving it more opportunities for emotionality than the muted and more ‘still’ vibe of Dog

There is definitely a theme for this album, from the band’s ‘80s-inspired suits to the headless, animated suit. We can only speculate, but this will most likely be the general aesthetic vibe of the album.

The group are trying to make an impression even before the album officially drops. For example, those who engaged with the ARG are most likely aware that the music video for Dog featured a QR code, which eventually led to being contacted on WhatsApp about the band’s upcoming works. A fun little way to keep people updated about this and future projects.

Baby You’re A Winner is out August 21st via Brace Yourself Records.
