Green Man Festival announces its line-up launch event in London
The launch includes performances from three artists now confirmed to be playing the festival in Wales this summer.
Green Man is a well-loved indie festival set in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog in Wales. Over the 24 years it’s been running, it’s gradually grown in popularity, due to its incredible line-ups (including Big Thief, Ezra Collective, and even Phoebe Bridgers), friendly atmosphere, and its appeal to all kinds of festival-goers.
To announce the line-up this year for the sold-out festival, a launch event is taking place at The Lexington in London on March 5th. Post-punk band Shame topped the bill, with the genre-defying Jessica Winter and Cardiff’s Casual Smart also performing, along with DJ sets afterwards, keeping the festival buzz alive until late.
The bands playing at the event are the first to be announced on the line-up, which seems to exceed expectations each time it drops — and I’m sure this year will be no different.
Ticketholders for this event will be able to enter the raffle to nab themselves two tickets to the sold out festival, so even if you weren’t able to secure any in the initial frenzy, it’s definitely worth heading to down to the line-up launch — to not only catch some incredible musicians, but also get the chance to see the acts again this summer, amongst the beautiful backdrop of the Welsh mountains.
