Kynsy signs to Nice Swan Records and releases new single ‘Money’

The Dublin artist is now labelmates with English Teacher, SPRINTS and Opus Kink.

Following on from the success of her Things That Don’t Exist and Something To Do With Love EPs, Dublin indie artist Kynsy has now signed to esteemed indie label Nice Swan Records (English Teacher, SPRINTS, Opus Kink).

Alongside the news comes the release of Kynsy’s latest single Money, which sees her explore the emotional complexities of love and longing in a sharp, guitar-driven track. With its honesty and unapologetic quality, it’s a fantastic first release of the year from the rising star, sand an exciting indication of what’s soon to come, with new material set to be released in the coming months.

On the single, Kynsy said: “Money is a song about the depths of love, nostalgia, and longing, painting a vivid picture of emotional complexity. Through references to past memories, desires for something more, and a mix of conflicting emotions like love, tears, and uncertainty, I explore the intricate journey of the heart. The repeated mantra of "I'll be okay" and the juxtaposition of swimming and drowning in money hint at a quest for stability and reassurance amidst the emotional whirlwind. Ultimately, my words reflect a personal narrative of love, longing, and the unwavering belief that clarity will come in due time.”

Kynsy is also set to support Do Nothing and Honeymoan with her genre-hopping anthems in London this spring and will be playing Ireland’s Night and Day Festival in June.

Money is out now via Nice Swan Records.
