Laufey announces new album ‘A Matter of Time’
Returning for her 3rd studio album, the singer keeps paving her own path in pop music.

Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Laufey served up the second single, Tough Luck, in anticipation of her third studio album, A Matter of Time, which is set to release August 22nd.
Only a month since the Icelandic artist’s first single of 2025, Silver Lining, Laufey has served fans a second treat to keep them coming back for more.
Since her music debut in 2021, the Forbes 30 under 30 artist has made a name for herself with her love for infusing classical and jazz into her modern pop music sound. With her albums Everything I Know About Love (2022) and Bewitched (2023), inspired by artists such as Chet Baker and Carole King, but when describing her latest album, she dropped the rulebook and said, “I just want to let my heart wander.”
