Nxdia announces new EP ‘Lovemesick’
The Egyptian-Sudanese artist will also set off on a mini tour this May.
Following the runaway success of their mixtape I Promise No One’s Watching, Egyptian-Sudanese artist Nxdia has just announced their latest EP, Lovemesick.
The project will feature four tracks and is described as “a collection of dark love songs with even darker endings” as Nxdia chronicles the demise of an unhealthy relationship.
Nxdia’s previous release I Promise No One’s Watching, struck a chord with queer listeners thanks to its candid exploration of identity, set to the backdrop of infectious beats and pop-punk bangers. The single, She Likes a Boy, also achieved TikTok virality.
For Lovemesick, fans can expect “dance-ready rhythms” and Nxdia’s signature fusion of English and Arabic lyrics.
Alongside the release, Nxdia will play a set of intimate EP release parties in London, Manchester, and Bristol as part of the Lovemesick: Fever Runmini tour in May. While pre-sale kicked off on April 14th, general sale goes live on April 19th.
Nxdia is also currently supporting Cat Burns on her UK tour ahead of a slot at Birmingham Pride this May.
Lovemesick is set to be released on the 24th of April via Bxdger Records.
