On the Beach promises Madness, Maccabees and Moby for 2026
Across just eight nights in late July, the iconic seafront festival will also see electrifying sets from Fatboy Slim and Miles Kane.
On the Beach, Brighton’s iconic seafront live music event, is back for its sixth year. Launched in 2021, the festival takes place around two weekends in the summer, bringing a plethora of musical talent to the city’s iconic beachfront. For the 2026 incarnation, the likes of Fatboy Slim, Madness, The Maccabees and Moby will bring standout sets and non-stop sun-soaked vibes.
Previous icons to appear at the festival include Eric Prydz, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Bloc Party and The Kooks. Across two weeks, the city will be home to some of pop, indie and electronica’s biggest artists, including some equally formidable supporting acts, all a stone’s throw from the ocean.
Festival goers spending a night with big beat pioneer Fatboy Slim will enjoy warm-ups from, among others, Groove Armada and Simon Pegg, while Miles Kane and Badly Drawn Boy delight before The Maccabees take to the stage. The eclectic festival recently won ‘Best Location’ at this year’s Skiddle Awards, marking just how far On the Beach has come since its inception six years ago.
There’s something for everyone at On the Beach, a breadth of sublime musical talent that offers indie rock staples and alternative British icons. If you’re not spending those warm July nights in Brighton, you’re missing out.
