‘The Sweet Goodbye’ drops July 31st – and its lead single is every inch the seductive, horn-filled rocker.

Brighton indie juggernauts Opus Kink have announced their debut LP, The Sweet Goodbye, with lead single Come Over, Do Me Wrong.

Once again, the band have differentiated themselves from the countless brash boys of the modern-day rock genre, like Fontaines D.C., Fat Dog or IDLES. While there’s certainly that same hypnotic, pop-tinged punk here, Opus Kink’s signature ska influence offers up something fresh to this feisty cut. How many bands in 2026 are rocking out and throwing right hooks with both the saxophone and the trumpet? It’s a little dark, a little noir, but thoroughly addictive and well worth a repeat.

The band have also shared news of a UK and European Autumn headline tour, which will include their biggest ever headline show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town.

Tracklist:

1. Come Over, Do Me Wrong
2. Will It Come For You?
3. I’m A Pretty Showboy
4. The Sweet Goodbye
5. Peckham Nocturne
6. I Have To Shine My Sunday Shoes
7. The Head Tree (feat. The New Eves)
8. 448C (The Colour of Love)
