The Family Battenberg announce debut LP with stomping single ‘Bed Bug’
‘Super Deluxe’ promises bigger riffs and heavier fuzz from the Cardiff rock group.

Welsh fuzz-rockers The Family Battenberg have announced their first full album, Super Deluxe, along with its lead single, Bed Bug. Answering the age-old question, ‘how would a bed bug feel about getting obsessed with the person in the bed?’, the new track is everything you’d expect from the four-piece behind last year’s Spider Rock Forever, the group’s debut EP.
Bed Bug is bold, brash and hairy, coming through in drones of distorted, massive sound. It’s a sub-three-minute garage-rock powerhouse and a reminder that the group, who have gigged with Getdown Services and Panic Shack, are the next loud thing.
The new album, Super Deluxe, drops in November, and it already sounds like it’s going to be an indulgent offering of sneering hooks and crackling riffs. What’s not to love?
