The Great Escape unveils 100+ new artists for 20th anniversary line-up

Europe’s leading multi-venue festival continues to champion upcoming artists with a diverse programme for 2026.

With an already jam-packed line-up, The Great Escape has announced over 100 more artists ready to descend upon Brighton from May 13th to the 16th.

Household name Lottery Winners have joined the bill, guaranteed to deliver a big show with their anthemic indie tunes. Gene Gallagher fronted grunge-rock trio Villanelle are another band sure to get the crowd going with their high-energy 90s-inspired hits.

Also featuring in the diverse line-up is dance-pop artist BIG WETT, who will bring the queer club bangers, Minneapolis-based dream-pop artist Mother Soki, and Turkish artist Min Taka, who defies genres with her unique synth-infused indie-pop.

Homegrown talent is also championed in the lineup, with well-loved indie quartet Lime Garden, groovy eight-piece psych prodigies big long sun, Lemon Suckr, Amanzi, Congratulations and many more local favourites.

The festival has also unveiled its next Spotlight Show: the provocative and ever-entertaining electroclash icon Peaches. Her performance forms part of a series of intimate shows featured across the wider festival schedule and will take place on May 15th at Brighton Dome Concert Hall, with the previously announced Kingfishr also taking to the stage the day before.

2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for the Brighton festival, with an array of experienced festival favourites performing alongside the most exciting emerging talent from around the world.
