The Wombats and Bastille set to join forces at Crystal Palace Bowl
The two indie heavyweights are set to perform on August 13th.
Liverpool legends The Wombats have spent the past two decades establishing themselves as one of the UK’s most beloved indie bands, earning a reputation for their captivating hooks, bubbly and energetic live performances and a discography packed with some of the best-loved indie classics the genre has to offer. As they edge closer to the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough debut album, A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, the trio are preparing for a summer of festival appearances and live shows, bringing together the songs that have defined their career and inspired an entire generation of fans.
Joining them for a very special co-headline performance are Bastille, who are making a triumphant return in 2026. Following the release of their brand new single The Answer in February, created alongside Energies, Joywave and Rittipo, the band have once again captured the uplifting, anthemic sound that once made them one of the nation’s biggest acts.
The Answer signals an exciting new era for Bastille while retaining the emotional songwriting and soaring choruses that their fans know and love. Combined with a setlist featuring their biggest hits, the band’s return to the stage promises to be one of the highlights of the year.
Taking place at the iconic Crystal Palace Bowl, this unique co-headline event brings together two of the UK’s most celebrated indie-pop acts for a one-off show that is set to be remembered long after the end of the show. With both bands drawing from extensive catalogues of fan favourites, audiences can expect an evening packed with sing-a-longs, festival-sized energy and unforgettable performances.
The lineup is completed by special guests Prima Queen and Cherryholt, while legendary indie club night Propaganda will keep the atmosphere high with an exclusive DJ set.
Elsewhere, the other line-ups boast the likes of headliners Grace Jones, Saint Levant, Kirk Franklin, Tom Jones, Gary Numan, Masayoshi Takanaka, Nas & The Roots, Anthony Hamilton, Davido, Lenny Kravitz and Jimmy Eat World. This summer is set to be one to remember.
