The Wytches announce album & tour with single ‘Black Ice’
The iconic underground rockers usher in new era with ‘Talking Machine’ and 25-date UK/EU tour.
British psychedelic rockers The Wytches have announced a new album Talking Machine. It’s out October 10th, and will see the horror-rock four-piece touring across the UK and Europe to promote the release of what will be their fifth record.
Taking its title from the nickname Thomas Edison gave to gramophones, the album is the first recorded live since the group’s debut, and tackles topics like AI and the growth of technology in ‘60s and ‘70s revival rock. The first taste of the album, Black Ice, is out now and shows a delicious return to what makes The Wytches so great. It’s loud, it’s psychedelic, it’s heavy, and it drags up images of classic pulp horror from its murky depths.
October will see the band play dates across Southampton, Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow and London, as well as a plethora of other UK cities and European staples. Talking Machine features eleven tracks and promises a delectably heavy new chapter for the Wytches.
