After selling out their run of intimate shows, the iconic band have announced a full UK tour for next year, commencing in Bristol and finishing in Liverpool.

The Zutons first released a debut single in 2002 before shooting into the UK Top 40 with nine of their singles between 2004 and 2008, including Valerie, the track popularised by the late legend Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson. As well as a nod from British rapper Plan B in his breakthrough track She Said (“Like The Zutons, Valerie”), the band gained notorious popularity at a time when the charts were dominated by acts like N-Dubz, Girls Aloud and Sugababes.

The new album comes as a whole new book for the band, who spent the majority of the pandemic living together, drinking and taking mushrooms, taking them on a bonding experience like no other. Since then, lead singer Dave McCabe spent time in rehab, taking the time out to recuperate and deal with issues head-on, before the writing of The Big Decider. They’ve been gone for a lot longer than a hot minute, but they’re finally back.

The Big Decider is out April 26th.
