ugly ozo announces her debut EP ‘stargirl’
The announcement comes alongside the release of her latest single ‘madonna’.

In tandem with the release of her latest single, madonna, Isle of Wight artist ugly ozo aka Jessica Baker has just announced her debut EP, stargirl.
madonna is dedicated to Jessica’s younger sister, and she described the song as “grunge-soaked ode to sisterhood, vulnerability, and the bittersweet feeling of watching someone you love grow into themselves, with an overbearing sense of aching protectiveness”.
As for the EP, the release is hotly anticipated thanks to the success of its lead single, onto a winner. Earlier this summer, the track made waves amongst indie publications and musical tastemakers. The project itself is a collaborative effort between Jessica and producer, Macks Faulkron, known for his work with artists such as Caroline Polacheck and Sky Ferreira.
Jessica is also scheduled to play a set of shows in the South West of England between July and November, following a series of festival appearances this summer.
