Wallows announce new album ‘Model’ and World tour

The band’s 3rd album will be out next month.

Today, indie band Wallows — consisting of bandmates Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston — announced their 3rd album Model after releasing two singles, Your Apartment and Calling After Me, and share World tour dates in support.

The tour will see the band travel the breadth of the UK, stopping at Newcastle, London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham, as well as pitstops across Europe and a long slew of dates in North America. The tour starts August 6th and ends October 22nd — if that isn’t impressive, I’m not sure what is.

The announcement comes alongside a short horror-esque film, starring the band and friends, and directed by Nina Ljeti, filmed at the Kia Forum as promotion for the World tour. Feast your eyes on 12 minutes of cinema magic, courtesy of the band’s vast imagination. Bring back promoting your tours in well-thought out ways, rather than the ye olde trusty social posts!

The third album comes two years since the release of their sophomore effort, Tell Me That It’s Over, and — from what we’ve heard so far — could be the band’s best LP to date.

Model is out May 24th via Atlantic Records.
