Pop rock rarely sounds this good. Absolutely Anytime — a five-piece indie collective from London — have offered up the latest taste of their debut EP, due next month.

13th floor is a wondrously groovy bit of jangle-pop; a bit of The Wombats meets The Darkness, with Sam Stone’s vocals echoing that of industrial club DJ Lynks, turned up to elwcwn. It’s a pint-sized slice of pop-rock perfection that so easily captures the sound of the summer while remaining as timeless as the concept of gravity.

Absolutely Anytime have sold out headline shows in London, supported Yungblud on tour and played iconic venues Scala, The Village Underground and Lafayette. It’s not hard to see why with catchy pop-rock masterstrokes like this under their belt. October can’t come quick enough.
