Logan Edwards drops debut single ‘Worry’
The full EP is yet to come.
Logan Edwards has launched his new solo project with the entrancing new single Worry from his upcoming debut EP, Belong To Someone Else. Whilst still involved with his bands The Beatniks, Ani Saafa and Chump Change, Edwards is branching out with his solo project in what he describes as a “rewarding, but ultimately scary move.”
The feeling and uncertainty of heading out into the unknown is all over Worry. The anxiety is palpable. Whilst certainly leaning on the atmospheric production cues of Phoebe Bridgers’ modern classic Punisher, Worry stands on its own as a contrastingly grounded yet theatrical dive into overthinking. As the song progresses, it unfolds into mania and jitters with a hesitant force. Seemingly out of nowhere, it spirals into complete chaos. It is the perfect musical translation of sheer anxiety and certainly lives up to its title.
As the song opens and he exclaims that “all I ever do is say goodbye”, it’s clear that Edwards is looking for something more. All the songs on Belong To Someone Else were written in a solitary week in November and then recorded in a frantic one-month period in December 2025 at Bedford St Studios. If Worry is anything to go by, Edwards needn’t feel so scared about going out on his own at all. It’s going to sound just fine.
