The Velvet Tuxedo drop acrid new punk anthem ‘Buzz the Scuzz’
The group’s debut single promises three minutes of garage, psych and punk swagger.

Raucous four-piece The Velvet Tuxedo have put out their first track, Buzz the Scuzz, and it’s brutal. Think The Cramps’ raging psychobilly on steroids, with thundering drumbeat, hazy guitar and downright stabbing vocals.
It’s the kind of track that expands the punk-rock genre by pushing just that one step further into the full-blown neurotic. At three minutes, it’s also a little longer than a lot of punk classics, and thank God for it. After just one listen, you’ll realise three minutes is still not enough.
