It’s no secret that Brighton’s music scene is vibrant and alive. It seems like every new band you hear about nowadays is either born or migrated there. Thrillhouse are an excellent addition to this harbour of incredibly talented musicians.

I’ll Still Be There sounds like all good indie pop music, but mixed with the driving beat of something by The Cure, and makes the Brighton duo’s first single of 2026 the perfect song for summer, despite being released in the cold depths of January.

The track follows a steady stream of singles in 2025, with songs like Wanna See You Smile and A Light Drive marking this creative duo as ones to watch this year. It’s been two years since the band’s debut album, Something About This Place, so perhaps this year will bring their second.

I’ll Still Be There is out now via Spirit of Spike Island.
