Leeds-based musician Amber Strawbridge, better known as Bored at My Grandmas House, announces her first album after the success of her 2021 debut EP Sometimes I Forget You’re Human Too. Accompanying the announcement is the second taste of the album, the honest title track which follows 2023’s Inhibitions.

Amber started out making music on Garageband (a universal experience for many) before saving up for a laptop and Logic Pro, signing to CLUE Records and making a name for herself in the indie circuit.

On the track, Amber explains: “Show & Tell is quite a tongue-in-cheek song about me being the opposite of an open book and all the little specific things about me that I sometimes wish were different.” The track weaves her recognisable dreamy pop sound with smooth shoegaze to create something so earnest yet deeply relatable. If this is an example of what’s to come in the summertime, then I can’t wait.

Show & Tell is out via CLUE Records on June 7th.
