Dutch Interior announce new EP ‘It’s Glass’ with new track ‘Ground Scores’
The Southern Californian six-piece return with news of an EP after 2025’s ‘Moneyball’.
Dutch Interior are no strangers to the scene, having released their debut album, Kindergarten, back in 2021, followed by 2023’s Blinded By Fame and then an expedition into the country side of things on 2025’s Moneyball, which was inarguably one of the best releases of the past year and firmly put them on our radar.
Continuing with the folkier sound they found on their last record, new track Ground Scores sounds like something from Nick Drake’s Pink Moon, if Nick Drake was still alive to join a six-piece band with five vocalists and enough talent to spare.
Ground Scores is a straightforward love song, and that’s really just it, one in which the band describe as “a song about stumbling through the end times into something good. It was inspired by finding something valuable and unexpected on the ground one night. I realised that this chance occurrence represented how life felt when things were going well: finite happiness left behind by someone else, only to be inevitably depleted.”
The track joins previously released Play the Song in making up the bones of their upcoming EP.
