Set in Biddinghuizen’s Spijk en Bremerberg, Lowlands has built a reputation as one of Europe’s most consistently well-curated festivals. The Dutch event is known for blending rock, pop, hip-hop and electronic music, while extending beyond the main site with its indoor and outdoor programmes, hosting cinema, street theatre, cabaret and comedy sketches. In recent years, the festival has attracted over 55,000 visitors and features over 200 acts on more than ten stages housed in a tent style to create an intimate atmosphere.

Past editions have featured major names including Billie Eilish, Arctic Monkeys and Justice, and the 2026 lineup looks set to continue that run.

The headliners announced so far span several genres, with Tyler, The Creator on the line-up, who is sure to deliver a deeply immersive set based around the narrative of his introspective rap lyrics and themes.

Known for his highly theatrical stage presence and commanding pyrotechnics, Tyler, The Creator’s first time at Lowlands will be a memorable performance.

Established pop veteran Lorde is also set to headline, bringing new album Virgin to the Netherlands, promising to bring one of the weekend’s most talked-about performances.

The wider line-up balances established artists alongside newer names with rising acts like Geese, Keo and Dijon, set to prove their artistic existence on a global scale, while electronic music also remains a core part of the festival’s identity. Queen of jungle Nia Archives is scheduled to bring her hectic breakbeats to the 2026 edition, marking one of the festival’s standout bookings, alongside EDM trio Major Lazer and soultronic pioneers Maribou State.

Mainstream pop artists heavily feature on this year’s line-up, with Grammy-nominated Sombr joining, following a major breakthrough year in 2025, alongside the likes of maximalist rising stars Adela and Ravyn Lenae. Hip-hop and R&B are also heavily represented by some legends of the genre, with JPEGMAFIA and Clipse joining headliner Tyler, the Creator.

With more names still to come, Lowlands 2026 is shaping up to be one of the festival’s strongest editions in recent years.

Lowlands is set to return from August 21st to the 23rd. Tickets can be bought here.
