Tiny Habits announce 2nd album ‘Keepers’
The Boston folk trio have teamed up with Matty Healy for their latest single ‘Anything He Was’, which arrives alongside the announcement of their upcoming sophomore album.
Boston folk-pop trio Tiny Habits have unveiled plans for their second studio album this summer with Keepers, due to be released August 28th via Mom+Pop.
The exciting news arrives alongside their group’s new single, Anything He Was, which features guest vocals from The 1975’s Matty Healy. The new release, which showcases Tiny Habits’ signature three-part harmonies over soft percussive melodies, explores the bittersweet experience of being used by a partner, and the desperation and loneliness that comes with it.
This collaboration with Healy isn’t their first, having shared a cover of James Taylor’s Carolina In My Mind with the singer on TikTok in November 2025. Previously, Tiny Habits went viral when they covered The 1975’s Somebody Else in their own style.
Speaking about Anything He Was, Judah, Cinya, and Maya from the band say, “Anything He Was speaks to a specific loneliness brought on by someone else’s discontent. They’re constantly using you to fill a space that can only be filled by someone else who is no longer there for them. Knowing this deep down, you still try; you show up. You make them laugh. You’re intimate with them. You perform gestures of kindness and grandeur in hopes that someday it’ll be enough, that your hard work will blossom into something more than just a bittersweet delusion. But it won’t (womp womp). You’ll never amount to them or the cherished moments they shared together. To those who share this experience (current or past), may this song soothe that loneliness and be a little gift on your path to find the love that you deserve.”
Keepers is a twelve-track project that aims to encapsulate the life-changing, exciting, and often devastating experience of self-discovery and growth. One of the twelve tracks is previous release, Right In Front Of Me, a celebratory anthem for being unapologetically yourself. The album follows Tiny Habits’ stunning 2024 debut album, All For Something, which opened many doors for the band, including touring globally and alongside some of the industry’s biggest artists such as Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams, Vance Joy and more.
Keepers is out August 28th via Mom+Pop. Pre-order the album here.
