TRNSMT announces second wave for 2026 line-up

The festival has confirmed eight new additions to its Glasgow Green line-up, expanding the bill with a run of newer names ahead of June.

TRNSMT has announced its second wave of artists for 2026, adding eight new names to this summer’s Glasgow Green line-up.

Joining the bill are Beluga Lagoon, Jacob Alon, Brògeal, Keo, The Rooks, Chasing Abbey, Billy Reekie and Finn Forster, rounding out a line-up that already includes headliners Richard Ashcroft, Kasabian and Lewis Capaldi.

Set to take place from June 19th - 21st, the festival had previously confirmed names including Wolf Alice, (my personal favourite) CMAT, Loyle Carner and Amy Macdonald. Among the latest additions, Jacob Alon arrives off the back of a breakout year, having picked up the BRITs Critics’ Choice award, while Brògeal and Beluga Lagoon continue TRNSMT’s habit of platforming Scottish acts alongside bigger touring names.

Elsewhere, Chasing Abbey bring a more left-field addition to the weekend, blending electronic and Irish folk influences and sitting slightly outside the festival’s usual indie lane.

It’s not a drop built around the biggest names, but the kind you catch early, almost by accident, then spend the rest of the weekend going on about.

The reaction so far has been mixed, with some fans questioning the lack of bigger additions. But it follows a pattern TRNSMT has leaned into in recent years, keeping the headline moments familiar while using the undercard to introduce what’s next.

With the full weekend now taking shape, the second wave adds depth rather than scale, giving the line-up room to move beyond just the top line.
