Truck Festival announce their 2024 line-up

The renowned Oxfordshire fest will play host to the likes of Declan McKenna, Holly Humberstone, Yard Act and more.

Truck Festival is back at Hill Farm for 2024 with yet another strong lineup to feed many indie heads’ desires. We have been teased with the first announcement — which dropped Monday night — featuring all the headliners along with 43 other acts that will be bringing their sounds to the Oxfordshire fields come late July. Bristol-based post-punk group Idles will be opening proceedings for the main stage on Thursday night and going by their past electric, high-energy sets, that will be one not to miss.

As always, indie isn’t the only genre that Truck gets behind; dance and electronica will be back again with yet more names to follow in the coming weeks. Along with headliners Idles opening the Thursday, Jamie T will be closing the first day of music on Friday and, after his five-year hiatus, Truck are more than ready to welcome his upbeat, life-affirming indie anthems. The Saturday night welcomes Rhian and Hester AKA Wet Leg who, after a whirlwind couple of years with their debut Wet Leg, the fields will be more than happy to hear that much talked about album live (and perhaps even some newbies!). Shaking things up come Sunday to close the festival — who needs little introduction — Mike Skinner, the brains behind The Streets who, after their success following Original Pirate Material in 2002, will well and truly bring the energy on those last day vibes.

Brighton-based four-piece The Magic Gang — who have sadly just announced their farewell tour — will be heading to Truck, one of their last festival stops, which I’m sure will bring many people to their set to say goodbye. Also hailing from Brighton and on the bill will be The Kooks (bringing the nostalgia) along with hotly-tipped Black Honey (lead by singer and guitarist Izzy Baxter).

Also set to perform at this year’s festival are veterans Soft Play (formerly Slaves), The Wytches, Willie J Healey, The Snuts, Sundara Karma, NewDad, The Royston Club, and many more.

Yet again, Truck — most recently hailed as the ‘Godfather of the small festival scene’ — has delivered one enticing lineup that proves to us that it most certainly still holds that title.

Sign up for pre-sale here and make sure you don’t miss out on one stellar weekend! The three-day festival commences on the 26th of July and finishes on the 28th in the beautiful setting of Hill Farm in Oxfordshire.
