‘Car Crashes’ from Lal Tuna goes from a low-key folk-like track to a massive crescendo

This is an absolute gem of a track from start to finish and, with so many layers to it, it gives you a lot to chew on.

The vocals on Car Crashes by Lal Tuna are the first place to start for this track. They’re soothing, beautiful, and they weave in beautifully with the guitar on the track. This roughly six-minute track is absolutely incredible. What makes this even more interesting is that most of the track itself is all done by the artist herself, from the writing to the composing, to the music video itself.

The almost folk-like nature of this song is another interesting aspect of this track, as it adds a lot of interesting layers on top of the already incredible vocals. This builds up so intensely from the folky start and is absolutely incredible. It’s almost as if the second half of this song got shot out of a cannon and moved into a completely different territory of music altogether. The early start with the guitar strumming in the back being built up into the awesome second half of the track that it becomes is done so well that you have to sit and reflect on it.

This is an incredible track from start to finish, with what feels like two distinctly different halves of a song; both unique and interesting in their own ways, and with both having things to take note of and make you think.
