Desert Fire is the name of Australia’s fresh-faced new three-piece — and it’s a fitting one, given the sound of their debut.
R.A.D.I.O.’s sound is a bit Heavys, a bit Wolfmother with a little Nickelback in there for kick. It’s biting nu rock with a snarl and a smack; bound to please fans of the heavier or alternative side of music, it feels refreshingly confident and air-shreddingly good.
