Grandmas House return with new single ‘DOG’
The band have also announced tour dates across Europe.
Bristol’s own Grandmas House have released a brand new single this morning. It’s a great addition to their repertoire, as the band shows off another heavy garage-rock/grungey hit, with even gravelier vocals than usual. Fans of their previous work will be sure to enjoy this track.
The single is accompanied by a music video, in which the band are sporting black suits and playing along with what appears to be an animated suit. The video features flyers being blown about the set, one of which the band inspects at the end of the song. The flyer informs the reader that they’re a winner and encourages them to call a certain number; the voicemail message of which tells the caller to message the number on WhatsApp to “become a part of something bigger”.
Seems like the band is putting on a small ARG to encourage listeners to engage more with them. The video is now on YouTube for those curious about what the message might lead to.
New music isn’t the only thing the band is working on. They are also swinging over to Europe for a tour, after which they will be coming back onto home turf for some solo shows as well as a fair few festival appearances.
DOG is out now via Brace Yourself Records.
