Aussie punks Party Dozen (a duo of Kirsty Tickle and Jonathan Boulet) have put out their latest single, Ghost Rider, both digitally and on a 7” single.

The track begins as a club classic, which never quite gets to the drop, leaving you on tenterhooks long past the point of anticipation and through to madness. Then bam, the song gives a bruising breakdown — with added sax — solidifying Party Dozen’s latest release as one for the sweaty mosh pits as much as alternative clubs.

Tickle’s indecipherable vocals throughout are like the Tannoy from a prison yard, with the same sense of brutality, in a thoroughly enjoyable new release.

Ghost Rider is out now. Pre-order the 7” here.
