Bag of Skin is the new single from three-piece Pigeon Dog; a queer, London-based collective into big choruses and ‘big ol’ spiky riffs’.

Much like its subject matter, Bag of Skin shifts between the rough and the soft, clattering between thunderous breakdowns and hopeful, frontier-rock pauses. It’s a track that caresses just as much as punches, all set to the hauntingly introspective words of songwriter Maya Raykov. The ‘90s influence is palpable, but it’s an anthem firmly for the 21st century. Pigeon Dog’s new release is grunge in every sense of the word.

Bag of Skin is out now.
