Westside Cowboy drop slacker rock track ‘Dobro’
The track is the latest taste of upcoming debut album ‘It Goes On’, out August 21st via Island Records.

Westside Cowboy, who earlier this year released their first EP, So Much Country ‘Till We Get There, are back with the third and final taste of their upcoming full-length release, Dobro. The track starts life indebted to the glam rock of the 1970s, with a typically Bolan riff and Velvet Underground-like vocals.
What follows, though, is pure 21st-century slacker rock, at once quietly infectious and yet a standout indie rock moment of 2026. Following prior singles Kick Stones (The Boys) and Pin Up Boys, Dobro is fuzzy, jangly and effortlessly cool. In 2026, it looks clear that indie belongs to Westside Cowboy.
